Silver Wire Bird Nest Necklace with Blue-Grey Glass Pearl "Eggs"

A new design for me, this is my new Bird Nest necklace. A bird's nest has a lot of symbolic meaning including protection of the young and nurturing new generation and life. A nest is a home and a shelter and a Mother bird dedicates herself to the protection of her precious eggs. This process is celebrated in this piece. Silver wire is woven to form the nest shape and three glass pearl "eggs" in an amazing blue-grey color are nestled safely within. It's strung on a matching 16.5" silk cord for immediate wearing.

It's delicate, feminine and unique. Something easily worn with any attire and yet a real conversation piece. Because each one is unique, no two would ever look exactly alike.
