Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Ribbon Bracelet with Genuine Swarovski Crystal and Handmade Lampwork Pink Ribbon Beads

Aside from non-melanoma skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women. Breast cancer is the number one cause of cancer death in Hispanic women. It is the second most common cause of cancer death in white, black, Asian/Pacific Islander, and American Indian/Alaska Native women.*

Personally, breast cancer has hit three members of my immediate family. My maternal grandmother, my maternal Aunt and most recently, my sister. I wanted to make some items to support them and their fight. I originally made one of these bracelets for my sister and one for myself to wear and show support for her. On my mother's suggestion, I'm also offering them for sale here as well. She felt more people might want to be able to support their family, or women in general through this terrible battle. The bracelet features Genuine Swarovski crystal in both pink and a frosted white with handmade lampwork glass pink ribbon beads. The bracelet is finished with a pink ribbon toggle clasp. It's very pretty and feminine without being overly large or gaudy. The Pink Ribbon is the international sign of breast cancer awareness and support and October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Koman Foundation for each bracelet purchased.
