Victorian Gothic Hematite Tree of Life Pendant and Memory Wire Choker

This beautiful memory wire necklace is inspired by Gothic and Victorian styling. Featuring a hand woven Tree of Life pendant and coordinating necklace, this compete piece is a very unique one-of-a-kind creation.

The Tree of Life is a concept that's been featured in myth, story and legend literally all around the world. Since ancient times, people have used variations on the theme. Connecting all things - the realms of the spirit, the physical, the Divine and the mundane - the roots of the Tree and the branches touch all things and bring them together in harmony.

This pendant is handmade using painstaking wire-wrapping techniques. Non-tarnish silver wire frames and encircles the pendant, and is then used as the roots, trunk and branches of the tree. Hematite is a natural mineral composed of iron oxide. Very popular in Victorian England, it's seen a resurgence in popularity here in the United States. Hematite has even been found on Mars! This gorgeous mineral has a mirror-like finish but the depth of the color seems limitless. Traditionally, it's believed to help ailments of the blood as well as bring about a calm, and tranquil mental state.

Each pendant is fully hand crafted and thus one-of-a-kind. No two are alike. The pendant is 1.5" x 1.5" and the memory wire necklace will easily fit a range of neck sizes from 13"-16". Memory wire is the comfortable way to wear a choker style - even for people who don't like chokers.
