Two new, limited edition pieces in my ever-expanding Full Moon collection are now live in the shop! Avaiable in either non-tarnish, sterling silver plated wire, or a yellow gold non-tarnish brass wire!
This tree is bare of leaves like one would see in Winter and features a large, red agate gemstone round bead representing a “blood moon” behind the branches. According to folklore, October’s full moon is called the “Hunter’s Moon” or sometimes the “Blood Moon.” It gets its name from hunters who tracked and killed their prey by autumn moonlight, stockpiling food for the winter ahead. During a lunar eclipse, the moon actually appears to be a deep red in the sky as a result of the sun’s light interacting with the Earth’s atmosphere.
A beautiful, semi-translucent red agate coin bead measuring 18mm is the focal piece of this pendant. The agate is one of the oldest stones in recorded history, having been used in jewelry since Biblical Babylonian times! Said to aid in healing and protection, it’s associated with the Moon and the planet Mars.
THIS IS A LIMITED EDITION PIECE. I bought a very small assortment of these specific agate gems and I’ve divided the availability up between silver and gold offerings. There are a total of TWO silver and TWO gold available and that’s it.
Both available in the shop right now – but only while supplies last!
